Our much-loved wine range has received an extreme make-over, stepping up its look from the traditional to the trend-setting and modern. The Italian range of wines - better known as The Family - has been a favourite with consumers since its release in 2005, with just 3 wines in the range back then, including Pinot Grigio, Moscato and Nebbiolo.

Other than a small refresh of the packaging in 2015, The Family range's aesthetic has remained much the same for the best part of fifteen years. The relaunch of the range brings the packaging up to date, capturing the on-trend attitude of our winemaking process, the history and heritage of the family behind the wines and incorporating Italian cues that truly represent the wine's full-bodied personality. We are delighted with the results of the redesign.

Anthony Murphy, co-owner and chief winemaker said “The wines that are coming out under that new label – the Prosecco and new Vermentino look excellent, also the 2018 Nero d’Avola and soon-to-be released Nebbiolo look really good from the 2018 vintage. So we’re really excited about the new fresh look and new wines.”

The range has grown over the years to now encompass eight varieties of Italian-style wines, including Prosecco, Vermentino, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Sangiovese Rosé, Nero d'Avola, Nebbiolo, and Frizzanté Maestri. Each one is an excellent example of its respective Italian wine variety; something that has been backed up by The Family's successes on the award circuit.

Recently, the Prosecco and the Sangiovese Rosé have proved to be particularly successful, with the Prosecco winning the top award in its class at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show in 2018, and the Rosé taking out the gold at the same event. However, all the varieties in the range have been well received by critics and consumers alike. The Frizzanté Maestri and Moscato are two of our most popular and best-selling wines.
