The Mildura Country Music Festival rates alongside the Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Gympie Muster, with Mildura fortunate enough to have Australia’s biggest showcase of Independent entertainers. It is not unusual for fans to drive thousands of kilometers to be in Mildura for the ten days of non-stop country music. Converging on this beautiful destination on the banks of the Murray River, the Mildura Country Music Festival has steadily built its own culture throughout the years. This year was the 29th Mildura County Music Festival, which ran from Friday 25th September to Sunday 4th October. More than 80 individual artists and groups entertained at venues in and around Mildura over the ten day period to celebrate the anniversary. Trentham Estate recently welcomed artists on the two Sundays and we are proud to say it was our best year yet! Perfect weather saw huge crowds visit the winery grounds to be entertained by the highly talented country music artists. On Sunday September 27th we were joined by host Tom Maxwell with guests Rodney Vincent, Neilly Rich, Connie Kis Anderson and Alice Benfer. Sunday 4th October saw crowds enjoying the highly acclaimed Don Costa, Dwayen Elix, Jay Podger and Amos Morris. The two day events were very successful with groups of people setting themselves up early to get the best spot to relax and listen to the great music and even kick up their heels. With the majestic Murray River as the backdrop, it was always going to be the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Make sure you join us next year!
