It is that time of the year where the wine shows are wrapping up for another year. Results are in and we are proud to announce we have enjoyed another successful run at some of the recent major Australian and International wine shows.

• The prestigious International Wine Show Competition (IWSC), held in London recently, saw the Family Reserve Heathcote Shiraz 2010 shine - winning GOLD.  “This wine is evolving beautifully. Generous juicy ripe berries and good use of oak. Chocolate, blackberry and cherryare all present and very correct - almost Black Forest gateau in a glass!” ~ Judges tasting notes.  SILVER was also awarded to River Retreat Shiraz 2013 and BRONZE for the Family Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet 2012, Family Reserve Tasmanian Chardonnay 2013 and Family Reserve Tasmanian Pinot Noir 2013.

• Another fantastic result was seen at the NSW Wine Awards. Trentham Estate was awarded 8 medals in total with the best result being GOLD for the Estate Verdejo 2015. The Estate Pinot Gris 2015 and Estate Shiraz 2014 also did very well, both receiving SILVER. Another five Bronze medals were also awarded to Trentham wines.

• The Royal Adelaide Wine Show saw SILVER for Estate Verdejo 2015 and Estate Pinot Gris 2015 with another four bronze medals awarded.

• And finally the Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show awarded SILVER for both the Family Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet 2012 & Estate Shiraz 2013 and another four bronze medals.

A great result across the whole range of wines; the awards are a testament to the hard work and talent of the dedicated Trentham team.
