Description

This release is the first of this Italian varietal for Trentham Estate, of which only 10 barrels have been produced. Our 2020 Sangiovese is medium bodied with ripe cherry and soft spice aromas. It has fine, chalky tannins on the palate with flavours of redcurrant, followed by earthy notes and a savoury finish. Ideal with pasta marinara or grilled porterhouse.
