How long is the drive from Mildura to Trentham Estate?

Our winery is just a 25 minute scenic drive from the Mildura CBD, via the Buronga and Gol Gol townships.

Can we moor our houseboat at Trentham Estate?

Yes, you're welcome to park your houseboat at our private wharf. Space is available on a first in, first served basis. On days where some space is required for visiting paddlesteamers, please take note of and follow the signage.

We're travelling in an RV / towing a boat or caravan - is there parking space?

Yes, just follow the signage as you enter our driveway. About half way down, turn right at the blue sign, and park by our grapevines. The cellar door and restaurant are a short 100m walk.

Are the cellar door and restaurant wheelchair accessible?

They certainly are. Parking is available on the lawn side of the carpark, nearest to the entrance. Then head around through our veranda area and enter the building from the riverfront side. If you require assistance please ask our friendly team.

Is Trentham Estate open later on any days?

During the summer peak (end November to late January) the Cellar Door is open until 6pm on Saturdays only, with platters available until 5pm, and our bars/tastings closing at 5.30pm and the venue at 6. The summer peak hours will begin again on November 28th, 2026.

On Mondays and Tuesdays when the restaurant is closed, is any other food available?

Yes, our Outdoor Platter Menu is available daily until 3pm.

Is there a dress code at Trentham Estate?

Almost anything from casual through to formal goes at Trentham - however patrons are required to wear, at minimum, neat casual dress and footwear at all times. While we love to welcome guests from boats on the river, swimwear isn't suitable to wear in the cellar door or restaurant.

Can I bring my dog to Trentham Estate?

Yes, we generally welcome dogs to the outdoor lawn areas of our venue. Water bowls are available, and we simply ask that your furry friend is kept on a lead, cleaned up after and isn’t a disturbance to others. No dogs other than certified service dogs can be allowed indoors or into other food service areas such as our restaurant balcony. Please note however for special events such as Easter, dogs (other than service dogs) aren't permitted due to the large numbers of guests at the Estate.

Is BYO permitted? Can we bring a picnic?

No, BYO (food or beverages) is NOT permitted at Trentham Estate.

I'm thinking about proposing at Trentham Estate, how should I go about this?
