Previously known as La Famiglia, the packaging has been refreshed for the first time since the range’s release 10 years ago in 2005. The quirky illustration featured on the original packaging has had a slight makeover; making it a more prominent feature to give the label a more contemporary feel. The unique illustration featured on each of the varietals within the range aim to reflect the individuality of persons within ‘The Family’. We hope the name change will further help to resonate with wine consumers.
The updated label gives this well-known and well-loved range a fresh new look that still reflects the history and heritage behind the range. The range pays tribute to our Irish and Italian heritage involved in grape growing and winemaking – celebrating a Love for Life. “Family is significant to every single one of us. Life is all about spending time doing things we love with the people we love. These wines can be enjoyed in the company of family and help create those special moments together.” says Chief Winemaker and Co-owner Anthony Murphy.
The release of this Italian range has proved very successful for us over the years. Today, the range comprises a collection of six wines which include Vermentino, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Sangiovese Rose, Nebbiolo and Frizzante Maestri. The varieties have all been grown on the Estate and each is an excellent example of the typical Italian varietal. The Moscato is now one of Trentham’s best sellers in the portfolio. The wines in this range have enjoyed many successes over the years, receiving a number of awards and accolades. The new look label compliments the quality product inside, reflecting the approachable style of these award winning wines.
